ASTD Presentation: Google's Experiments with MOOCs

I'm excited to present at ASTD's International Conference in Dallas, TX tomorrow.

Who am I? Why this Blog?

I am Julia Wilkowski (nee Bulkowski), an instructional designer who is passionate about learning and performance. I work in a corporate training environment. Most recently I have been involved in MOOCs and Google's Course Builder platform.

I hope to share insights about what I've observed about MOOCs from a behind-the-scenes instructional design perspective in order to inspire others to experiment with MOOCs. I want to contribute to the extensive dialog about MOOCs and hope you will join me in discussions.

I have presented at SXSWedu, ASTD, ISPI, and DevLearn conferences about Google's involvement in MOOCs and the use of social media tools to enhance learning and performance. I have been a judge of the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards competition in the past.
